Lindsay Lohan's Side Job
Lindsay Lohan has landed a job — and it has nothing to do with showing up at a club or applying self-tanner.
The actress, whose personal life long ago overshadowed her once-promising career, has inked a deal to appear in the indie fantasy comedy The Other Side with Woody Harrelson, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette.
The plot centers on a graduate student who takes a summer gig working at a science research facility on a remote island. Once there, she comes across and interesting cast of characters.
Shooting will begin in October.
This will be the first feature role for Lindsay since her 2007 bomb I Know Who Killed Me.
"Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her," the film's director David Michaels told Daily Variety. "She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that."
