Jessica Biel: I'm Too Sexy for this Profession
If everyone could have the problems that Jessica Biel has.
Justin Timberlake's girlfriend says she wants the kinds of roles that go to her peers like Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, but she's stuck with films like I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
"I just want an opportunity," the 7th Heaven vet tells Allure in its June issue. "If you don't like the audition, then don't hire me. But if you don't even want to see me – that's hurtful." She adds that her good looks often are a drawback when it comes to casting. "It really is a problem," she says. "I have to be blunt."
Although she says her feelings for beau Justin are strong ("You love who you love," she says), she's still undecided on marriage.
"I have no idea if I want to get married," she tells the mag. "I have a lot to do, career-wise."

Yes, there is no doubt that she is talented but with an attitude like that she is undeserving of good roles. She seems to be too big for her britches and if she was more down to earth she might be taken more seriously.

Maybe she can't get any serious roles BECAUSE she's always accepting stupid shitty roles like Chuck and Larry. Actresses like Scarlet and Natalie avoid that stuff so they aren't considered a slapstick-type actress in the first place. Also, you don't hear those actresses making up excuses for their success regarding their looks.

That's complete crap. I've always adored Jessica til she made these ridiculous comments. She's pretty but if she can't a serious role or whatever it is that she's wanting then that sounds like it's her fault - not because she's too pretty. She left out other celebs that get good roles all the time like Charlize Theron, Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba, Rachael Mcadams, Sandra Bullock, Salma Hayek & Penelope Cruz. They are just as pretty as she is and some are even prettier. She needs to bring her self-esteem level down a notch or two. She should figure out what she's doing wrong to not get the roles she wants and stop blaming it on something as stupid as her looks. Scarlett Johansson is absolutely gorgeous so I'm not even sure why she mentioned her name.
