Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson Confirmed for Jackson Memorial
The list of performers for Michael Jackson's memorial service has been released and it reads like a Grammy night lineup.
Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson and the surviving Jackson brothers are expected to perform at the late entertainer's memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Other celebrities set to appear include Michael's ex-girlfriend Brooke Shields, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, John Mayer, Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson. Though still unconfirmed, Beyoncé and Whitney Houston are also expected.
Michael's family and extended family will also have a large presence. Michael's three children — Prince, 12, Paris, 8, and Blanket, 7 — are expected as well as his superstar sister Janet Jackson, parents Joe and Katherine Jackson and about 350 cousins and other relatives.
Two people who won't be there are Michael's ex-wife Debbie Rowe — who canceled at the last minute — and his personal physician, Conrad Murray, who was with him when he died on June 25.
No word on whether or not Michael's first wife, Lisa Marie Presley, will attend but it seems unlikely as she publicly slammed the "awful vampires and leeches" that the singer surrounded himself with and implied that his prescription drug use is what killed him.
Tuesday will be a busy day for the Jackson family as they are holding a private service for Michael before the public memorial. It will reportedly take place at Forest Lawn Memorial in the Hollywood Hills.

What? No word on the "most famous man on the planet" & wife - AKA Speidi? I was sure they'd been asked to headline or mc the event. Well, there goes the $20K I spent on eBay for my ticket.

Isn't Jennifer about to pop out that baby any second now... if she hits a high note her water may break, and she could deliver right onstage. That's all this circus would need.
