What Happened To Mischa's Face? Plus: Police Called To Her Home!
In just five short months, Mischa Barton has gone from frighteningly gaunt to puzzlingly puffy, and those close to the hard-partying former O.C. beauty are more concerned than ever about her.
"Mischa is so unhealthy and out of control," a source tell Star.
While the 23-year-old actress is trying to claim her new, blown-up look is due to swelling after having wisdom teeth removed, sources close to Mischa insist her lifestyle is at fault for the shocking change in her looks.
"She’ll down anything — wine, beer, vodka — whatever she can get her hands on!” explains an insider. “Most nights she’s getting smashed until 2 or 3 a.m. It’s sad.”
A friend tells Star, "She's partying nonstop, and it's ruining every aspect of her life. Her health, relationships and career are all going to hell. She's a train wreck, and everyone sees it."
After a strange incident Wednesday afternoon, it looks like Mischa's friends may have good reason to worry about the troubled actress.
The LAPD responded to a non-911 call from Mischa's house around 3 p.m., where they proceeded to escort her to an undisclosed location.
A spokesperson for the LAPD says they are "currently assisting" the Beautiful Life star with a "medical issue."

i just hope that mischa can get ahold of herself and go back to the way that she is she looks pretty awful and needs to exercise a lot more ofen or she will never go back to her old ways i just dont want anything to happen to her she is to pretty to get out of hand

Oviously the woman has some addiction issues, why does everyone have to judge so harshly, addiction is a real serious medical problem I hope God can save her, and show her that there is more to life then rinking, and getting high, IT WILL KILL YOU, trust me. GOOD LUCK MISCHA HEAL,and be well, and learn to appreciate the foryune, and fame you have in a much better way rememer it is a gift, not to be taken lightly.
