Ashton Reveals Worst Part Of Being Married to Demi
Married for nearly four years to Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher still acts like a newlywed — even posting love notes to his "wifey" on Twitter. But in a new interview he was eager to share the bad part of being hitched to the hot mother of three.
When asked about the best part of his union, Ashton told Gotham magazine he'd much rather talk about the worst. "Being away from my wife when I have to go on the road and work," he said in the August issue. And though the two have never had any children together, Ashton said that his role as stepfather to Demi's daughters — Rumer Willis, 20, Scout, 18, and Tallulah, 15 — is "the greatest honor of my life."
The actor also revealed that he's "completely shaped by how I grew up," referring to his childhood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. "Having a twin brother was one of the most impactful things in my life as far as giving me a perspective on who I am. It brought out my competitiveness and at the same time probably brought out my compassion."
But those wholesome roots are nowhere to be seen in Ashton's upcoming comedy Spread, which finds the 31-year-old star playing a gigolo who seduces older women in order to get his hands on their money. Though the character wasn't an incredibly challenging role for him to master, Ashton admitted that he was "a little bit freaked out about the amount of nudity." The movie, which co-stars Anne Heche and Gossip Girl's Sebastian Stan, hits theaters in August.
