Nicole Richie Gives Birth to Son Sparrow
It's a boy for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden!
The couple welcomed their second child, Sparrow James Midnight Madden, on Sept. 9. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz.
"In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden," the couple wrote on Nicole's Web site. "Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes."
The newborn joins older sister Harlow Winter Kate, 19 months.
Sparrow's birth is bittersweet for Nicole who has been struggling to come to terms with the death of her ex, DJ AM. Luckily, Nicole has the support of Joel, who she's been dating since 2006, to help ease the pain.

I don't think it is anybodys place to judge their decision to name their son. I also believe we live in a modern world and it does not matter if they are married or not!! whoever still believes that is nuts! keep your opinions to yourself..
