Christie Brinkley Reaches Settlement With Her Ex
Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook have reached a settlement after each accused the other of violating their divorce agreement.
"Ms. Brinkley is completely vindicated," her lawyer said in a statement to Star. "The parties' settlement approved by the judge today does not grant any of the requests in Peter Cook's motion which dragged Ms. Brinkley back to court. Each and every one of Mr. Cook's vindictive requests including, among others, his request for Ms. Brinkley to undergo anger management, for the appointment of a parenting coordinator, and for the children's passports to be held by a third party, are not provided for in the document agreed to by both parties."
Meanwhile, Peter's lawyer says he's the real winner here because his request for more parenting time with his children was granted.
The exes went to court last week after an incident in which their son, Jack, missed a school trip to Egypt because he did not have his passport in time to travel. Both exes had asked for the other to be jailed for contempt, but the judge did not act on those demands.
