Scarlett Johansson Heading To Broadway

October 27, 2009

Scarlett Johansson is trading in the big screen for Broadway! The Vicky Cristina Barcelona star will take the stage in a winter revival of Arthur Miller's 1955 play A View from the Bridge.

Scarlett will play 17-year-old Catherine whose uncle — played by Liev Schreiber — harbors an incestuous desire for her. She falls for another man though and tragedy ensues.

The production is scheduled to open Jan. 14 at the Cort Theatre.

I though for a time (long ago) she might be an interesting person. She turns out to be just another Hollywood bore. If she never acted again no one would care. So forgetable.

This chick just doesn't do it for me - an unknown would have been a better choice.

I don't think she does and wouldn't go just to see her. I don't know what the big deal is about her, she is a mediocre actress and is average looking. She is a big bore.
