Chaz Bono Opens Up About Becoming A Man
Chaz Bono is well on his way to transforming into a man and now he's ready to talk about his gender-reassignment surgery.
"I always felt like the male from the time I was a child," Chaz tells Entertainment Tonight in an exclusive interview airing Thursday and Friday. "There wasn't much feminine about me. I believe that gender is something between your ears, not between your legs."
Chaz explains, "It was just a long process of being comfortable enough to do something about it. I was turning 40 and I thought, it's now or never. I want to still feel vibrant and be able to enjoy my life in a male body and not wait until I am an old man."
In addition to talking about the effects taking male hormones and surgery to remove his breasts, Chaz will also discuss how his famous mother, Cher, is dealing his transformation.

It is ironic that so many people are negative against Chaz when folks in hollywood, in the name of beauty, are mutilating their bodies through plastic surgery, botox and face fillers. Give the guy a break!

I accept that some people are truly born in the wrong body, but something is really off about this case. I just don't think that Chastity Bono is truly a transgendered person. It seems like a very deep psychiatric and /or emotional issue is prompting this change.
