John Travolta Speaks About Son's Death

November 9, 2009

It's been almost a year since the death of his 16-year-old son Jett and now John Travolta is ready to talk about his passing.

"We've been working very hard every day as a family to heal," John told USA Today. "We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping."

John's wife, Kelly Preston, said the "outpouring of love from, really, worldwide has been extraordinary," since Jett's death on Jan. 2. It's been our friends, our family, our church. We partake in spiritual counseling pretty much daily."

John and Kelly, both Scientologists, said in addition to their faith, their daughter, Ella, 9, inspires them. Ella stars alongside her parents in the upcoming film, Old Dogs. John explained, "We decided it was okay to come out and promote, to introduce her to the world and to give her a beautiful future in film."

Since he give up on being Catholic for the Scientology his film career has gone downhill. First of all i believe this Scientology is a cult, but a more fancier onve than the usual underworld ones they be having. He needs to step away from these people and look at his life and stop having to give his whereabouts to the Scientology people whenever him and his wife go anywhere. I know when he was a Catholic he didn't have to call the Vatican everytime he went somewhere or take a nun or priest with him along on his trips like how the scientology guy was on his trip with his family.
-- I'm just sayin

Ditch Scientology for goodness sake. If not for your religion it is likely your son would still be alive. Think of that devoted parents that you are....
