COURIC HOSTS SEPT. 11 SPECIAL
Katie Couric will anchor the CBS special Five Years Later: How Safe Are We?, an hourlong primetime special marking the fifth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. The special will air at 10 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, a day after Couric begins anchoring the CBS Evening News. "This is a hard-hitting special that will have humanity (and) will try to answer some of the important questions but also touch some souls," the show's executive producer said.
