THE STAR-DINA LOHAN UPDATE ON LINDSAY'S WRIST!
Dina Lohan, Lindsay's stunning manager-mom, tells Star exclusively that her daughter — who broke her left wrist in two places after slipping on a wet outdoor area at a NYC Fashion Week party on Sept. 15 — will have to wear a removable cast for about four to six more weeks. Plus, Lindsay's boyfriend Harry Morton has offered more than just the usual adoring support for Lindsay — he's referred her to one of his cousins, who's a doctor! "Lindsay saw Harry's cousin, since her other doctor is in New York, and Lindsay's in L.A. now, where Harry's cousin is based," Dina tells Star's David Caplan. So how long is Lindsay going to wear her cast? "It depends," Dina tells Star, "but I think about four to six weeks."
And while Lindsay may be nursing her wounds, she'll still find time to maintain her status as one of Hollywood's most hard-working actresses! Over the next few weeks, she's going to film a brief part in a film directed by Nancy Meyers. But the cast won't be a problem. "She won't be doing cartwheels," says Dina, laughing. "It's removable too, so she can take it off for a short time, or she can wear long sleeves." Plus, Lindsay is slated to be photographed for GQ's Women of the Year issue.
Meanwhile, Dina tells Star, in reference to reports that depict Lindsay in an unflattering light, "We're tired of this crap. And as a parent, it's hurtful."
