PARIS SAYS SHE'S FILING RESTRAINING
ORDER AGAINST SHANNA!
Paris Hilton has been so distraught since former Dancing With The Stars contestant Shanna Moakler allegedly punched her in the jaw early in the morning of Oct. 4 at L.A.'s Hyde nightclub, that she says she will file a restraining order against Shanna this week — possibly as early as today! "I'm scared of her," Paris tells Star. "I feel like I have to do something to protect myself."
Paris arrived at Hyde alone after attending the Rolling Stone Hot 100 party. As she stood in the club talking to former flame Stavros Niarchos, Shanna approached and allegedly began screaming expletives — a la "F****** B****!" — at Hilton.
"She threw a punch in my left jaw so hard," Paris claims. (Shanna's rep tells Star, "Shanna did not punch Paris Hilton.")
In response, Stavros threw his drink in Shanna's face.
"But he never touched her," claims Paris. "She was never touched by anyone." Paris filed a police report on the assault. And Shanna countered with one of her own.
But now Paris says she wants to follow up with a restraining order because she believes Shanna could cause more trouble.
Sources close to the story claim that Paris' decision to seek a restraining order was spurred after Shanna supposedly left a message threatening Paris on the voicemail of a mutual acquaintance.
"Stay the f*** away from me," is the message, claims the source. "If I see you or that f****** b**** Paris!, I'll punch you and that skinny bitch in the f****** face!" (Shanna's rep counters, "Shanna did not leave her a voicemail.")
Insiders say Shanna is also mad at the acquaintance because she barred Shanna from entering a club because Paris would be at the same club that night. ("This incident never occured," says Shanna's rep.)
Of course, the entire feud was sparked after Paris made out with Shanna's estranged husband, Travis Barker. The pair are currently separated. While attending an event in Las Vegas over the weekend, Travis told friends that he was outraged by his wife's behavior.
"She hit Paris in some pathetic attempt for attention," Travis said to friends. "It's disgusting. Who's home watching our three children while she's out in a nightclub all night causing a fight."
Meanwhile, the brief fling between Paris and Travis is over, sources tell Star. "Paris thinks Travis is a great guy," a source close to Paris tells Star. "But there was never anything really between them. Plus, Paris has too much going on with her music career to have a relationship right now. And he's got to take care of his soon to be ex-wife."
