Nicollette Sheridan to Leave Desperate Housewives
The end is near for Edie Britt!
Nicollette Sheridan is ending her run on ABC's Desperate Housewives, reports TV Guide magazine.
This will be the second time the actress was set to leave Wisteria Lane. Last year, show creator Marc Cherry announced that something Edie would do would lead to a "shocking conclusion to her time on [the show]." However, after being cut out of a few episodes, she was back again for in the fall.
No word on how her character will be written out.

I will miss that sexy little firecracker...who is very alluring and keeps the other house wives on their toes and their men on their P's and Q's. Susan (Teri Hatcher) should have been booted. She's boring.

I will definatley miss the sultry vixin and her flitatious ways. Now that the husband is about to be found out, they could have gotten rid of him!

I really wish Edie wasn't leaving the show-- I think it will change things and not for the better! Her character added some needed spice-- I hope she will return!

I love this show. Probably the most interesting, fast paced show to ever grace prime time. It is funny but always full of surprises. You can't keep my away from the TV when the Housewives are on. I will miss Edie but better her than the other four.

I think she is a terrible actress and I am glad she's leaving the show. She relies on her body to act.
