Pamela Anderson Becomes U.S. Citizen
The United States has a famous new citizen to call its own: Pamela Anderson. The Canadian-born former Baywatch star confirms in her blog that she's officially been made a U.S. citizen. And she's already getting down to business — the longtime animal activist was in Washington DC over the weekend on behalf of PETA. She attended Saturday's White House Correspondents' Dinner and also hand-delivered a PETA science report to the Department of Health and Human Services condemning them for continuing to allow animal testing. "Being a citizen excites me not just because I can vote, but because I can crack the whip on Capitol Hill to defend animals," Pam said.

Pam i think you are GREAT! there are so many jealous people out there, and you are trying to help! good for you!
(p.s for those of you who seemingly have a problem with someone donating some of there money to help organizations, grow up!who cares if they really mean what they say as long as they are poring their own money into something helpful.) -- Samantha

Someone once said that actors spend their lives at their jobs always pretending to be someone else, and THAT is the reason they "adopt a cause." They think it's the only way they can be taken seriously. I can't take someone seriously who gets naked for money with other people's spouses, wastes resources and wastes money, (flying all over the world to their 12 houses and 52 cars) then preaches to me about "recycling, the environment, whatever." These people must think we are really stupid. Looks like they just don't know when to quit "acting."

I don't hate her or anything, but I just have one question: Why in the world would anyone think the public would listen to someone such as Pam, who exhibits such a bad track record in LIFE? Bad choices all around- no thanks.

Citizenship seems to have gone to her head. As a fellow citizen, I don't remember giving her authority to "crack the whip" on Capital Hill. She's overstepping. Canada needs her back.
