Portia de Rossi's Name Change
Portia de Rossi is taking the plunge — and changing her name! Now that she has tied the knot with her longtime love, TV talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres, the former Arrested Development star plans to legally change her name to Portia DeGeneres. According to an insider, the two purchased stationery engraved with "Mrs. and Mrs. DeGeneres" from Tiffany & Co. in Beverly Hills weeks before their ceremony. "Ellen and Portia used it to write thank-you notes to the 19 friends and family who attended," says the source. They wed at Ellen's home in Los Angeles on Aug. 16.

I'm not a practicing Christian or anything like that but C. Miller is right! You people who are alright with it are completely deluded and stupid! Just because something feels good and is widely accepted by society, doesn't mean that it's right. Look at this simply analogy: A bolt and a nut attach together; not a nut and a nut or a bolt and a bolt! We were made with certain equipment for a reason! It's a bastardization of what's natural!

This is totally sick! And against God's plan for marriage of a husband and wife for the bearing of children. Just as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah when God punished homosexuality by raining down fire and brimstone and destroying those wicked cities. God loves people but cannot stand rebellion against His commandments. I fear for this country and others around the world who are embracing this ungodly lifestyle.

You're the stupid one! They are NOT just BFF and it's NOT a "pretend mariage. Wake the F up! Just because they are the same sex doesn't mean they don't love each other truly the way my husband and I do. I am NOT gay. I am a woman married to a MAN and we love each other very much and by the way we aren't just married to each other because we love each other be he is also my BEST FRIEND FOREVER. That's what's inscribed in our wedding bands with each other's name in them. Our 9th wedding anniverary is coming up on in about 3 weeks. And we'll be we were together 12yrs this Sept. All you antigay marriage people get your heads out of your ass. Everyone no matter what sex you are has the right to love each other and be in a committed and loving relationship. Ellen's 'wife'??? OMG!! Are you blind or just stupid??? They are both women. Wake up, this is not a real marriage. It's a 'pretend' marriage. At best they are BFF's who are physically intimate...that's all.
