McConaughey Bro Lands Reality Show
As Matthew McConaughey gears up for the arrival of his first child (see a photo of Camila Alves from over the weekend), his brother Michael "Rooster" McConaughey is prepping for some time in the spotlight. The less famous McConaughey has been tapped to star in a new reality series for truTV called Black Gold, which is about the hunt to find oil in Texas. Rooster is a perfect fit to headline this series as he founded a company called Chapter 11 Pipe, which supplies the pipes for the drills that go approximately 10,000 feet below the earth's surface. In 2006 Rooster first made headlines when his famous brother appeared on The Conan O'Brien Show and bragged how Rooster had just named his second son Miller Lyte in honor of his favorite drink. (In the photo to the left, his hat says: "Miller Lyte's Daddy.") As Star told you earlier this year, Matthew also considered naming his baby after a beer, but Camila shot down the suggestion. Yes, I have been waiting for a show like this. I grew up in Texas but never had a feeling for the roughneck way of life. And now with a working well in Texas, I would like to know more. If if it is Hollywood false style.
