Rosie O'Donnell Addresses Relationship Rumors

October 21, 2009

It seems like Rosie O'Donnell and her partner Kelli Carpenter are splitsville!

Confirming rumors that their relationship is on the rocks, Rosie tells USA Today that she and Kelli are working out some "issues."

"We're a family, we remain a family and we're working on the issues," says Rosie. "Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties."

The couple share four "adorable and wonderful" children together — Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12, Blake, 9 and Vivienne, 6 — who Rosie says are their top priority.

A tearful Rosie added, "But everything's fine and everybody's good and we're still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we're friendly and everything's all right."

I really enjoyed Rosie's magazine when it was out, and it was much better than Oprah. What's an old gal to do...
-- Grandma Virginia

She's a big rich star so she'll be fine. Maybe after all these years they just grew apart? It is sad though.

I'm not surprised!!! Rosie needs someone deaf and blind to have a lasting relationship.

You mean your working on YOUR problems,Rosie> Everyone knows your weird and falling apart, Kelli just didn't want to handle them any longer. A marriage ceremony didn't seem to help all those cracks in your relationship or yourslef. Maybe a shrink is in order for you,Rosie. Poor Kelli and the kids, to have to be exposed to your mood swings and all.

rosie dont lose the best thing in your life kelli.the children youve both raised are wonderful.take a year off just to be family and work out the issues.

Rosie gives me the impression her Mood Disorder needs some pharmacetical tweeking. It is hard on a relationship when the kids near the teens & one of the Adults is a ranter!!
-- Give Me a Martini

Rosie I hope you and Kelli can work things out. I hate to see any longtime couple split. It is so disheartening. You guys have been together for a very long time. Best of Luck to you both.
