Rosie O'Donnell Lands New Show
Rosie O'Donnell's big return to TV didn't work out, so she's going to try radio.
The comedian -- who left The View after less than a year and tried unsuccessfully to launch a TV variety show called Rosie Live -- has inked a deal to host a daily radio show for Sirius XM Radio.
The show, which will broadcast from a studio being built on the property of her New York home, will center around news and entertainment. There will also occasionally be celebrity guests.
Rosie -- whose daytime talk fest, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, was a big hit when it launched in 1996 -- credits an appearance on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show earlier this year for helping her get this gig.
"After I did his show, they called and asked if I was interested," Rosie said. "I don't really listen to radio, so I started thinking about it and listening. I asked if they could possibly do it at my house because that would really make it convenient for me with four kids, and they said yes, so I was like, 'Wow. Let's try that.'"
The show will debut this fall.

Why do people keep giving this nut job a venue to spew her insanity. I wish she would just go away. I HATE ROSIE!!!!!

Judging by some of these comments - theres alot of 5 yr olds reading the STAR or theres a lot of bigoted people-SHAME on anyone that would be so negative to probaly one of the MOST generous Celebritys ON THE PLANET Rosie O'Donnell ! NO one had an unkind word about her before they knew she was gay -Now they can't be nasty enough -Look in the mirror people-you just hate gays & overweight People NOT REALLY ROSIE -who is beloved by 99% of people that meet her - there I said it and you know it true!

Absolutly can't wait for Rosies radio show - I Only wish someone could convince her to televise it too -NO other talk show host has been able to match rosies style since she stopped her own show -and alough she was the BEST Host on 'The View' she wasn't given the freedom she needs to speak -theres NO REASON to watch 'the View; any more -she showed what it could be and now its just boring !

I think Rosie is great, she speaks her opinion which is our American right. If you would sit and actually listen to her, you might understand that she is not that far off from the truth. She is a generous and funny human being.

She's good! Funny, first, but also right about her political comments. What was she wrong about Cheney & Bush?
-- Linda Petty
Definitely NOT! She has nothing of any interest to talk to anybody about!
-- Jae Wealthfield
No. She'll just spew more rhetoric has she did on the view.
-- Anonymous
No. She is not in least funny, she is plain disgusting. Needs to stay out of the public.

I SAY WHAT EVERY ONE ELSE SAID, I DON'T LIKE HER EITHER. THE ONLY THING I EVER LIKED WAS THAT CRAZY SHE WAS IN. WHEN SHE LOCKED THAT WRITER IN HER HOUSE AND BEAT HIM. OTHER THEN THAT I HATE HER. SO NO WAY, I WOULD NOT WASTE MY TIME PUTTING IT OUT THERE. NO ONE CARES ABOUT HER.
