Saving Grace

Holly Hunter comes back as Grace Hanadarko, the Oklahoma City cop who talks regularly with her last-chance angel - when she's not drinking, smoking and having sex like a crazy person. But something new has been added: another angel, played by Oscar-winner F. Murray Abraham ("Amadeus"). He covets Grace as a client and starts to make a play for her. Still, the spiritual hocus-pocus usually takes a backseat to the crime plots, which are always intriguing.
And then there's the on-going performance by Hunter, who makes Grace a likably prickly good ol' gal with a huge heart but big appetites. She's what makes this show worth watching.
