Exclusive: Scientology Boot Camp for Katie Holmes
After two failed marriages, Tom Cruise went to a lot of trouble to find the perfect Scientology wife — and he's determined to make sure Katie Holmes maintains that position, even if it means she has to do time in a rigorous church boot camp! In the new issue of Star, we report exclusively on how Katie was recently secluded for three days at Gold Base, the remote, supersecret Scientology compound in Hemet, Calif., where she was put through a demanding schedule. "It included various tests, confession sessions, tons of reading and physically challenging purification processes," a Scientology insider reveals. "Tom insists that auditing and purification practices are incredibly beneficial to Scientologists at all levels." Katie's intensive Scientology training and treatments have been accelerated in recent weeks, says another source, because she wanted to go to New York City without Tom to star in a Broadway play. But Tom stepped in and put the kibosh on her plans. And now Katie's been going in for a series of intensive auditing sessions, some which have lasted for 36 hours straight — with little sleep or food. The controversial religion's practices have been shrouded in mystery for years. But with the defection of Cane actor Jason Beghe, more information about the church — which counts John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Leah Remini among its members — has become public. Read all about these new findings — from the grueling auditing sessions to "personal spiritual counseling," where members are hooked up to a lie-detector-like device called an E-meter and bombarded with the most personal of questions — in the new issue of Star, which is on newsstands today.

Carly...this isn't about belief in God. This is a cult.
Here's a quote "You can still be a Catholic and be a Scientologist" Can I be a Muslim and Christian at the same time? This is an oxymoron statement. If Scientology is a religion, who do they worship? And if you say Xenu, then how can you be Catholic and believe in Xenu and God. Scientology is a cult that wants the tax exempt status and protection of a religion to keep reaping money from its members and further fueling the facade that their is something more to Scientology than a money hungry,soul-raping cult. -- Anonymous
JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OF ALL. FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, FOR WHO SO EVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.
KATIE, I PRAY THAT JESUS CHRIST THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH TAKE THE SCALES FROM YOUR EYES. I LOVE YOU AND WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU. I HAVE SEEN SO MUCH CHANGE IN YOU SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN WITH THIS MAN. PRAY FOR HIS SALVATION IF YOU LOVE HIM. I WILL BE PRAYING AND AGREEING WITH YOU FOR HIS DELIVERANCE. -- TRUE BELIEVER IN CHRIST

To MS.Holmes,
I was in a controlling relationship at one time.I lost all sence of my being and havent been the same sence. Why are you letting a man having you hooked up to a lie detector and having you watched at all times? What kind of example are you setting for suri? Do you want her to be treated like that when she is older? I dont know you but i have seen the change in you through your eyes. Please try and keep whats left of yourself. I have lived a life of Hell and i left. If i can do it you can do it. I will be praying for you. -- Lived It

Tom is a nut case. Enough said.

I've never even heard of having sessions that long. It's a lie! Growing up in Scientology, you think I would know better than those of you who eat the "flesh" of Jesus and weekly go to a place that has Jesus bleeding. That's not sadistic though?
