Shia LaBeouf Busted for DUI, Hospitalized

Shia LaBeouf has been cleared of blame for the weekend car crash that left him hospitalized. "LaBoeuf has been determined at this stage not to have caused the accident," Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, said Tuesday.
Whitmore said the other driver failed to stop for a red light and slammed into the truck Shia was driving.
Shia LaBeouf has been arrested on suspicion of DUI after an early Sunday morning crash in Los Angeles left the actor hospitalized.
Shia's car rolled over when he allegedly made an illegal left turn and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Wolf, "It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest."
The 22-year old actor was treated for an injury to his left hand, his knee and a minor head injury at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His rep released a statement saying, "Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month. No further comment will be issued at this time. "
The passenger in Shia's vehicle and the driver of the other car sustained only minor injuries.
