Star Jones Files For Divorce

April 23, 2008

Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband, Al Reynolds!

The filing took place on March 26 in New York Supreme Court in Manhattan, according to Entertainment Tonight. The court papers were marked as an "Uncontested Matrimonial" case by the court and the records were sealed.

In a statement, Jones said, "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

I LOVE Star's comments regarding Barbara "Waa-Waa" Walters: Barbara has turned out to be such a hypocrite, after treating everyone else so badly for years, like they were beneath her, or something. The whole time Walters was screwing a married Senator, and hiding it from the public so she could still "make money," because she KNEW it was very very wrong. Way to go, Star. Give her hell! This is LONG overdue!

Star needs to calm down about herself. Every time she blasts off about something, she ends up being/doing the same thing she was so quick to judge about. Star is more impressed with herself than anyone else is.
-- Martha

she just wanted to be married because she could. what a farce she is.

PULEEEEZE..she was a media whore all during the engagement and wedding...why change now???

Hey, don't knock the payless shoes! lol Better than spending 2000k on Jimmy Choos while there are starving people in this world. Sara JP knows better than to promote a shoe that expensive; she's a really poor girl from Ohio. go Star!
