Star Jones Calls View Co-Hosts "Hateful"
It's been over two years since Star Jones left The View, but there's still bad blood between the ladies.
"Those girls were hateful," Star tells Essence magazine in its November issue. As for her hostile departure and subsequent fallout with The View's executive producer Barbara Walters, Star maintains, "Barbara set me up."
With her professional life in turmoil (her self-titled Court TV show was canceled last year) and her marriage to Al Reynolds crumbling, Star says she fell "into a depression."
After spending the summer in Italy with her girlfriends, Star says ready to start over again. She's even been seen canoodling with Herb Wilson, a New York City chef. "I want to fall in love again. I'm ready to love 24/7. I want happiness."
