Summer Weight Winners and Losers
Everyone wants a hot summer body, but as this week's Star reveals, some celebs go too far. Take Claire Danes, for example. The 29-year-old actress has always had a slight frame, but when she hit the beach in Italy on July 15, Claire looked downright frail. "Her ribs are pronounced, and you can see her hamstrings," says Stuart Fischer, M.D., author of The Park Avenue Diet. "It's very unflattering."
Other celebs are dropping unnecessary pounds too. New photos of Heidi Klum show her hip bones protruding while her chest appears deflated. "Heidi looked like a healthy woman, but now she's entirely too thin," says Dr. Fischer, who has not treated Heidi or Claire. And Get Smart star Anne Hathaway has dropped 25 pounds since breaking up with her boyfriend of four years, Raffaello Follieri.
But then there are those who are still fighting the battle of the bulge. Rob Lowe, Kirstie Alley and Eva Longoria are gaining weight on their summer vacations!
Pick up this week's issue of Star for pics and details on summer's weight winners and losers!

Stress affects people in different ways - for some you lose, for others you gain.

how about everyone stop commenting on it. Magazines are out today because of people like you who bitch about them and people like me who like to read them. Get over it already and live your own damn life.

If you are too thin it's disgusting! If you are too fat it's digusting! Is there an ideal weight in showbiz! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, if you're fat in Hollywood be prepared to be ridiculed. It is a fact of life. They get paid the big bucks to look good for their work.

There is sooo much pressure to look a certain way, especially when youor entire life is being watched. I know for a fact that a picture can be totally twisted depending on the angles. The reporters take photos at the worst possible angles in order to make stars look too thin or too big. If reporters used a fair angle with everyone, then maybe they would actually reflect the person who's photo was taken.

Weight was once a sign of health and fertility. Thin women where not picked as a mate. Thin was a sign of disease. It's strange how the american culture makes thin "IN".

This is why it sucks being apart white America because what other race obsesses over weight so much that like Heidi Klum would starve herself to where you see her bones.
-- big and beautiful.
everyone has their ups and downs
