Gordon Ramsay makes over failing restaurants on Kitchen Nightmares, and now former Shear Genius contestant Tabatha Coffey gives the same treatment to hair salons, helping owners resurrect their struggling shops on this new reality show. With her bob haircut and Australian accent, this stylist is a no-nonsense counselor with a good eye for what's wrong. But Coffey is so low-key that even her most cutting critiques wind up sounding sugarcoated. She lacks Ramsay's larger-than-life personality, and it makes what could be great television into a mildly entertaining course in Business 101.
