Tom & Gisele's Baby Shopping Spree
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is one proud papa! His son, reportedly named John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was born Aug. 22. A source tells Star, "Before Tom jetted off to Los Angeles to see his little man and the baby's mama Bridget Moynahan, he called the posh baby boutique Petit Tresor to order and deliver a huge baby basket, valued at $2,000."
The source tells Star Brady requested all of the layette pieces come from the clothing line Petit Bateau in blue. He also asked that the store's staff throw in a couple of onesies, a sleeper gown, a bunch of plush toys from Kaloo, a cashmere blanket for those chilly nights, a nightlight so his tot doesn't get scared of the dark and a cashmere outfit.
As for Brady's girlfriend, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, she placed her own order for the new infant and his mommy just two days before Tom did.
Says the source, "Gisele dropped a cool $1,000 on a gift basket filled with a cashmere puppy, six different blankets, a cashmere sweater & pants set, a white onesie with the word "supermodel" written in black on the bottom (how appropriate) plus a handful of burp clothes and bibs."
Gisele's gift seemed heartfelt, according to the source. "She acted as if she was sincere." And as for Brady, "you could hear him bursting with excitement about becoming a daddy."
