Rather than a competition between wannabe cooking stars, this variation on the popular reality show pits master chefs against each other. They compete - four per show - for a spot in the finals (and big bucks for their favorite charity). If you're a foodie, this is heaven - watching big-name chefs like Wiley Dufresne and Rick Bayless take on the offbeat cooking challenges this show throws at them. On the other hand, there is a different group of four each week and only one moves on to the final round, so it will be hard to develop favorites. Plus these are all established chefs - not hungry climbers looking for their big break. So, aside from bragging rights, there's not much at stake. Still, there's plenty to make your mouth water. 2 and a half stars
