TRUMP, WALTERS, O'DONELL SAGA CONTINUES
Never one to miss a media opportunity, Donald Trump told The Associated Press that he appreciated Barbara Walters' "retraction" on The View.
On Wednesday, Walters read a statement on the daytime talk show hoping to settle the pre-holiday war of words between Trump and co-host Rosie O'Donell. "ABC has asked me to say this just to clarify things, and I will quote: 'Donald Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy. Several of his casino companies have filed for business bankruptcies. They are out of bankruptcy now,'" Walters said.
Babs also explained Rosie was on a planned vacation and stood by O'Donnell saying, "She has brought a new vitality to this show and the ratings prove it.
Trump, however, says he is to credit for the ratings bonanza because "ratings are up because of people like me." The Apprentice host also said, "Barbara fully understands what Barbara told me. At the same time, she can't say that because she has to work with the woman. But she won't be working with her long. I mean, that thing will explode because Rosie's wacko."
We wonder if Rosie can update her blog remotely?
