Grammy Poll: Are You Over Taylor Swift?

Oh my gosh golly darn gee whiz Taylor Swift won a bunch of Grammys.

On Sunday, the country sensation picked up four awards — including Album of the Year — and delivered a couple of acceptance speeches. And while many people loved her humble thank yous (they were called "heartfelt" and "age appropriate"), others debated whether or not she was deserving of the accolades.

From Twitter to Facebook and beyond, that crazy thing called the World Wide Web blew up with comments about the 20-year-old singer — and most of them weren't that kind. Many found Taylor's shock over winning grating — seeing that she swept the Country Music Association Awards (5 awards!) and kicked butt at the American Music Awards (another 5!).

Wrote one blogger on New York University's NYULocal: "Swift delivered a sugar-sweet acceptance speech that made me kind of want to throw up. Where's Kanye when you need him?"

Then there was the whole duet with Stevie Nicks. Standing side-by-side with the music legend  made Taylor seem out of her league.

"Taylor's voice needs the studio for assistance," musicloverx66 posted on YouTube. "Not good live." Noted rickrockzyootoob: "Bad idea having Stevie sing with her. Stevie just makes Taylor sound bad! ... I don't know what's going on there."

I knew she couldn't sing, but the grammy's even surprised me on how terrible it was. Her label is defending her now, but when her sales go down they will drop her like a hot potato!! She is a sweet girl and a good song writer> BUT A SINGER, SHE IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE. She is an embarrasment to music period!!! Just goes to show that markeability and money wins over talent. SAD!!! You used to have to be able to sing in order to become a famous singer. Be sooooooooo glad when the Taylor money/fad is gone. And it will be soon!!!

How old are some of you posters??? If you were adults, you would know that this business comes with judgement - I say - she is not experienced enough to have what was given to her (awards).... Some of you feel really strong for her and feels she should be given a chance. This is what happens when children are allowed to participate in adult competitions.
