Tyra Banks, Katherine Heigl Are Totally Loaded
Whether or not Tyra Banks opts to wear pricey wigs, weaves or clip-ons, she can certainly afford them!
The model-turned-TV-megastar — who recently vowed to "show as much of my real hair as possible" to combat the $9 billion a year black women spend on hair products — is the top-earning female star of primetime television, says Forbes. The America's Next Top Model host, who also has an eponymous daytime talk show and produces shows including True Beauty, banked estimated earnings of $30 million between June 1, 2008, and June 1, 2009.
Other megarich stars on the dial include Grey's Anatomy's Katherine Heigl ($18 million), CSI's Marg Helgenberger ($9.5 million), Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria Parker ($9 million) and Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay ($8.5 million).

Of course TV's female top earner continues to be Oprah Winfrey -- who Forbes says pocketed $275 million last year and is has an estimated net worth of over $1 billion -- but she rules daytime, not primetime, television.

i think tyra is amazing! i watch her show like everyday she is an icon 4 real! and who cares about tyras real hair or not? she is one of the few ppl who r blessed with money, fame, ect... and she is still down to earth and helps ppl in need! tyra girl u rock!

uh, Bella... you're wrong. No one person deserves millions of dollars annually for pretending to be something they are not. Yes, it's entertainment that takes us away from how shitty our real lives are but honestly, u think they deserve it because of how much they work?? That's crap. I know teachers who work 15 hours a day between actual class time and grading papers who make less money than people who work at McDonald's. Be more careful with the word 'deserve'

Jon Star has been around for longer than 5 years (perhaps that is when they turned it from the tabloid to the mag format?) I got addicted to these awesome mind candy trash mags in the eighties when I would go and stay with my mother in my teen years.

These women are amazing and are worth every penny...what people fail to realize is that celebs are working 24/7 and deserve this money because they never get a break. If they say or do one wrong thing all of a sudden everyone in the world has 2038 comments about them.
