Usher Files for Divorce
Usher's marriage is over.
The Grammy-winning singer has filed for divorce from his wife, Tameka Foster Raymond.
Court records indicate the petition was filed on Friday in Superior Court in Atlanta, where the couple -- who married in August 2007 -- lived with their two sons, Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd Ely, 6 months. Tameka also have three children from a previous relationship.
The legal papers don't cite an official reason for the split and the couple is due in court on July 15, court records show.
It's been a difficult year for the duo. In February, Usher raced to Tameka's side after she went into cardiac arrest prior to undergoing liposuction surgery in South America. She spent 11 days in a Brazilian hospital recovering.
Since then, Usher and Tameka have been spending a lot of time apart. While she has mostly remained in Atlanta -- where she recently attended a screening of Eddie Murphy's new movie Imagine That with the couple's eldest son and two of her sons from her first husband -- Usher has been in Las Vegas -- working on his next album -- and the Los Angeles area.
On the night the divorce petition was filed, he was seen partying at the L.A. club MyHouse.
Earlier this week one report linked Usher to an Island Def Jam staffer named Grace Miguel. Page Six reported that the singer, who wasn't wearing his wedding ring, was photographed entering the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood with the woman last week.

I'm not gonna dog out Tameka. Dont kmow her, dont care to know her but again the warning came from your MOM who raised you and supported you to become who you are & now is the time to say I am sorry Mom you were right and to do better by heeding your parent. Robert P. has a vampire parent problem and I would bet that his life is not at all rosey. He needs to apologize to his MOM and give her a hug.
