As Britney Spears’ erratic behavior continues to concern fans, the 43-year-old is laser-focused on one thing: settling old scores.

An insider tells Star that the “Toxic” singer plans to use her upcoming biopic, based on her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, to tear into her parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears, as well as her sister, Jamie Lynn.

“The movie isn’t just going to be a ‘jukebox musical’ filled with her classic hits,” says the insider. “The studio is encouraging Britney to take a ‘warts-and-all’ approach, and even go beyond the material from her book to make sure this story hits a bulls-eye with her fans.”

Already estranged from Brit, her family — who she’s accused of using her financially and locking her in an unjust conservatorship — are bracing for the worst. Adds the source, “Britney has the truth on her side, and she’s ready to be honest.”

The movie, directed by Wicked’s John Chu and due out in 2027, is already generating lots of buzz — including about who might play the Mouseketeer turned pop princess. Though names like Sabrina Carpenter have been batted around, the director insists it’s “too early” for casting.
