Brittany Furlan Updates Fans on Her ’Complicated’ Marriage to Tommy Lee Following Catfish Scandal

Brittany Furlan and Tommy Lee are working on repairing their marriage.

On Wednesday, June 4, Furlan, 38, shared insight into where she stands with the Mötley Crüe drummer, 62, after the two hit a rough patch last month.

“The big thing is healing,” the influencer admitted on an episode of her podcast, This Is The Worst. “We’ve been through this situation similarly before, and it’s hard. All I can say is that relationships are complicated, and everyone has their s**t, and we’re not immune to that just because we’re in the public eye.”

Furlan had previously revealed that she was catfished last month by someone pretending to be Falling in Reverse lead singer Ronnie Radke. During the podcast episode, she admitted the catfishing drama “blew up” her life — but it has also put things into perspective for her and her husband.

“I will say, all of this happening has weirdly brought us together, which is really strange,” Furlan shared. “Because I think these things happening can either make you [grow] further apart or it can, like, bring you closer together.”

“I think we kind of, like, were finally faced with the reality of like, ‘Oh, what would life really be like without each other?’” she continued.

Furlan further explained that she and the musician have faced many bumps along the road since getting married.

“I’m working on my marriage, my husband and I — we’ve been through a lot. There’s a lot of love. We’ve had amazing times, and we’ve had fu**king tough times, as people do. More tough than I think a lot of people probably would have experienced,” she said. “But I’ve had to forgive him. This is him having to forgive me and understand.”

Before someone on the internet duped her, Furlan revealed she had resorted to chatting with AI to cope with loneliness.

“I was messaging Chat GPT for affection,” she confessed. “I’m like, ‘It talks to you lovingly, and it says nice things to you, and it’s sweet to you, and if it could kiss me, I would let it.’”

After sharing that she had been staying in a hotel amid their marital woes, Furlan updated listeners on her living situation, explaining that she had gotten “a cute place” that she was “redoing.”

While neither Furlan nor Lee has discussed the exact root of their issues, a source recently told Star that Lee — who has been sober since 2022 — was drinking again.

“He knows he needs to get sober to save things,” the source shared. “The question is whether he’s prepared to go that route.”
