Camille Razat Exits ‘Emily in Paris’ and Says Goodbye to the City of Love
Time to say au revoir! Days after it was confirmed that Camille Razat would not return for season 5 of Emily in Paris, the French actress — who played titular star Lily Collins’ love rival, Camille — broke her silence.
“After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris,” the 31-year-old wrote on Instagram. “It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity and unforgettable memories.”
Not to mention drama. Netflix viewers last saw Camille seeming to fake a pregnancy with her ex — and Emily’s love — Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), then trying to persuade him to pursue adoption with her.
The series left the door open for a Camille return, sending her off to become an adoptive mom on her own. Still, the actress said she plans to focus on her production company, Tazar, revealing, “We’re currently developing our first feature film.”
