Justin Bieber recently made an apology on social media to his wife, Hailey Bieber, after she reached a career milestone.

On Tuesday, May 20, Hailey, 28, graced the cover of Vogue magazine. The 31-year-old pop sensation posted the cover on his Instagram and got candid in the caption, admitting that he once told his sweetheart she would never get that opportunity.

“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean,” the two-time Grammy Award winner wrote.

“For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even,” Justin recalled. “I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.”

The musician concluded his post by asking for forgiveness, writing, “So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.”

The “Peaches” singer has since updated the post, swapping out his lengthy caption for a series of emojis that read, “🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹.”

In the Vogue interview, the A-list couple — who tied the knot in 2018 — praised each other, with Justin reflecting, “I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”

Meanwhile, the Rhode founder noted that the “Sorry” singer has helped her navigate the negative headlines.

“I’ve learned so much from Justin, really,” she told the outlet. “He’s been doing this literally since he was a child and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know. He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.’”

The model also discussed parenthood as she and Justin welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024.

“It’s been my biggest teacher so far,” she said of motherhood, “The biggest teacher in my relationship. You see your partner so differently.”
