Kerry Washington And Omar Sy Deliver Big Thrills In Action-Packed ‘Shadow Force’
What does it take to get an estranged couple back together? In the case of Kyrah (Kerry Washington) and Isaac (Omar Sy), who met as leaders of a multinational special forces group called Shadow Force, the reunion starts when their former boss, Jack Cinder (Mark Strong), tracks down their underground hiding place — and sends a bunch of motorcycle-riding goons to assassinate them.
The reason they’ve been targeted: As Cinder reminds them, Shadow Force comes with one ironclad rule — no one can ever leave. Kyrah and Isaac go on the run together, along with their hilariously potty-mouthed young son (Jahleel Kamara). Along the way, they recruit Auntie (Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph) and Unc (rapper/actor Method Man), who are equally adept with military-grade weaponry and quippy one-liners, to help save the family.
Washington and Sy’s chemistry and the big-screen–worthy action scenes make this a thrill for popcorn-movie enthusiasts and Scandal-loving OG Olivia Pope fans.
