According to a source, Kristen Stewart may be making a major move with her wife, Dylan Meyer.
The Snow White and the Huntsman actress, 35, tied the knot with Meyer, 37, in April after dating for about five years. Now, a source tells Star that the couple is considering leaving Los Angeles behind and making Europe their home base.
“As much as Kristen and Dylan like their laid back Los Angeles lifestyle, it’s become increasingly clear to them that their future lies in Europe, and France in particular, where Kristen has worked numerous times and where she is taken seriously as an international actress and filmmaker,” the source says.
The Academy Award-nominated actress has starred in many films shot abroad, including the 2021 historical drama Spencer — which filmed in Germany and the UK — and the 2022 science fiction flick Crimes of the Future, which filmed in Greece.

“They love her over there and she has had numerous positive collaborations with French producers and directors,” the source continued. “It’s also a lot easier for her to get the financing for the kind of movies she and Dylan want to keep making in France than it is in Hollywood.”
However, it may not be easy for Stewart to leave her roots in the City of Angels behind.
“What’s keeping Kristen anchored to L.A. somewhat is her and Dylan’s tight-knit friend group in town,” the source explained. “They are extremely social people and love entertaining and having parties.”
According to the source, Europe could be a good place to start their family.
“Remember, Kristen has been acting and using L.A. as a base since she was a little girl,” the source explained. “It’s kind of lost its luster in all those years — especially when you’re thinking about raising kids of your own.”
“They’re not going for a change of scenery to spice up their marriage, they’re looking for a deeper, more rewarding lifestyle,” the source added, noting the couple are on “the same page.”

In February 2024, Stewart told Rolling Stone she wanted to be a mom one day.
“I don’t know what my family’s going to look like, but there’s no f**king way that I don’t start acquiring kids,” she told the publication. “And also, ideally at some point soon I go, ‘I want to have a kid.’ I really want that to happen.”
Still, Stewart — who, the outlet reported, has already discussed pregnancy options with Meyer — admits there is one thing she is apprehensive about when it involves welcoming a child into this world. “I’m not scared of being pregnant. I’m not scared of having a kid,” Stewart added. “But I’m so f**king scared of childbirth, it’s crazy.”
