As speculation continues to grow that Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are on the rocks, a story involving the actor, 48, that once went viral is making its rounds again.
In 2021, Bloom shared a look into his daily routine for The Sunday Times, revealing he begins each morning checking his smart ring sleep tracker, checking in on daughter Daisy — now 5, and who he shares with Perry — and chanting for 20 minutes.
Next, “I’ll read a bit of Buddhism and then I’ll type it up and add it to my [Instagram] Stories,” the Pirates of the Caribbean star — who has practiced the religion since he was 16 years old — shared. “Other than that, I won’t look at my phone yet. I don’t want to be sucked into the black hole of social media.”
Admitting that his breakfast routine is “all quite LA, really,” Bloom shared he likes to “earn [his] breakfast” which consists of “green powders that I mix with brain octane oil, a collagen powder for my hair and nails, and some protein.”
Bloom — who follows a 90 percent plant-based diet and admitted sometimes he cooks, but other times “there’s a team of people” preparing his meals — confessed he also eats red meat “maybe once a month.”
“I sometimes look at a cow and think, that’s the most beautiful thing ever,” he explained.

The actor, who also dished on having an exclusive deal with Amazon and admitted he liked to “make an effort” when it involved his wardrobe and refused to wear “tracksuit bottoms”, shared he liked to keep himself busy with hobbies.
“During Covid I started building Lego again. I dip in and out while I work,” he said, per the publication. “I build mostly cars and find the methodical nature of creating this little thing makes me feel like I’m achieving something else.”
Though it seems Bloom’s story was meant to be a genuine look into his life, it quickly went viral at the time with many mocking his daily tasks.
“Genuinely thought the Orlando Bloom interview in The Sunday Times was a spoof,” one person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Is it really not?”
“Getting massive American Pyscho [sic] vibes from this,” another wrote.
“I won’t accept that this isn’t satire. He must be practising for a late night panel show hosting gig,” a third quipped.
Meanwhile, others respected Bloom’s healthy regimen. “Why make fun of a man who just wants to look after himself,” one fan commented. “Men need role models like this to normalize self care and wellbeing.”
Speculation has mounted in recent weeks that Perry and Bloom have hit a rough patch — however, in photos obtained by Daily Mail, the pair appeared to be together on June 22 in Australia, where the “Firework” singer performed that night.
