The April 25 death by suicide of Virginia Giuffre — who alleged that she was trafficked to Prince Andrew, 65, by convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell when she was a teen — was a reminder that there’s another royal black sheep.

The Duke of York long denied Virginia’s claims and even said he’d never met her, though he reached a private settlement worth a reported $16 million in 2022 in a civil lawsuit.

By that point, Andrew had been forced to step back as a senior working royal amid his association with Epstein, who died in 2019, though he’s never given up his hopes of staging a comeback.

In light of Virginia’s death, however, that door is now “firmly closed,” one U.K. outlet reported.

While Charles has seemingly tolerated his brother, reports indicate William will never let him back into the fold.

On April 30, royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths told one outlet William “won’t be seen anywhere near his uncle,” who he considers to be “an unsolvable problem.”
