Rihanna Reveals Major Family Update at Met Gala
Rihanna shared some exciting news at one of the fashion industry’s biggest nights of the year — she’s expecting her third child with A$AP Rocky!
On Monday, May 5, the 37-year-old superstar made a fashionably late entrance to the 2025 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and debuted her baby bump.
The “Diamonds” singer spoke to Access Hollywood about the news admitting, “I feel a lot better that I don’t have to suck my stomach in anymore.”
This year’s Met Gala theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which Vogue described as having “the Black dandy as its subject, examining the importance of clothing and style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora.”
The nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist stayed on theme with her ensemble designed by Marc Jacobs. Her outfit consisted of an oversized hat, grey corset bodysuit, cropped blazer, long pinstripe skirt with a slit, and a polka dot cravat. The musician later had her bump on full display at the “A$AP Rocky x Ray-Ban Met Gala Afterparty” as she wore a top that showed off her midriff.

As for Rocky, 36 (real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers), he served as co-chair for the event and wore a suit designed by his creative agency, AWGE. The rapper spoke to the Associated Press about his sweetheart’s pregnancy.
“It feels amazing, you know? We were tired of hiding that, and it was time to show people what we were cooking up,” he remarked. “I’m glad everybody’s happy for us because we’re definitely happy.”
The couple already share two sons, RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023. In February, Rhianna did an interview with Harpers Bazaar where she gave insight into her kids’ personalities.
“RZA is just an empath. He’s so magical. He loves music. He loves melody. He loves books. He loves water. Bath time, swimming, pool, beach, anything,” the Fenty Beauty founder told the outlet. “Riot, he’s just hilarious. When he wakes up, he starts to squeal, scream. Not in a crying way. He just wants to sing. And I’m like, ‘Okay, here we go!’ He’s my alarm in the morning! He’s not taking no for an answer from anyone. I don’t know where he came from, dude.”
