What To Expect When ‘And Just Like That’ Returns for Season 3: Carrie’s Voiceovers Are Back!

It’s been twenty-five years since Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) tutu got splashed by a bus — and now, our favorite New Yorkers are back, navigating love, friendship, careers and fashion.

What’s new in season 3? Carrie’s voiceovers are making their big return! And though ex Aidan (John Corbett) said he wanted a five-year break in last season’s finale, he also returns, just in time to help Carrie christen her gorgeous new apartment in Gramercy Park. Sadly the garden is home to some very uncouth NYCers — rats! She’s also decided to switch from nonfiction to fiction — specifically romantasy, that super-popular combination of romance and fantasy — which sounds like the perfect genre for our flighty heroine.

Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker), a documentarian and mom of three, and Charlotte — who went back to work at a gallery last season — are trying to balance career, husbands and kids. Like Carrie before her, Charlotte’s daughter is pas-de-deuxing with a hot ballet dancer. Miranda, who broke up with Che (Sara Ramirez) last season, contemplates dating a colleague.

Meanwhile Seema (Sarita Choudhury), bless her, is dating like she’s Samantha Jones circa 1998. Speaking of which, don’t expect even a cameo from Kim Cattrall.

With fans spanning generations from Boomers to Gen Z, And Just Like That… will definitely be the talk of the town, whether you watch… or hate-watch.

And Just Like That Season 3 | Premieres Thurs., May 29 at 9 p.m. ET, on MAX
